• (cont.) All three of us (Margaret, Helen & Rachel) are seeking the same LUDLAM family; we all descended from Mary LUDLAM (aka Mally) she m. Benjamin Massey TAYLOR at Sth. Wingfield, on Dec 4th 1781. Mally was the eldest sister of the ill-fated Isaac who was executed in 1817 for the part he played in the 1817 revolt. Mally & Isaac’s parents were William LUDLAM & Anne SHIMWELL (who m. Nov 21st 1758)... our LUDLAM ancestors trace back to 1682, when John LUDLAM m. Jane JACKSON at North Wingfield.
