  • Information - This postcard, shows the church & churchyard of St. Matthew’s; the postcard wasn’t used but dates to around 1910. The sarcophagus, belongs to John & Dorothy Beighton. The inscription reads ‘In loving memory of John Beighton, born August 6th 1814, died December 10th 1856. Also Dorothy, relict of the above, born November 3rd 1812, died October 22nd 1894’.
  • This Postcard is unused but dates to circa 1910; it is identical image to another postcard in our collection ... however the above postcard is colour tinted, whereas the other one is black & white.
