  • Information - The Dog Inn, as it was circa 1968. The Dog Inn is the building on the left side behind the road sign. The sign shows Buckland Hollow is straight on down Main Road (as we look at the photo) and Main Road leads on to Pentrich Lane & down towards the Devonshire Arms. Ripley is off to the left, which is down Asher Lane ... and Swanwick is back up Main Road the opposite way (coming towards us). Immediately behind us & on the right side (just out of view), stands St. Matthew’s church & the churchyard.
