PENTRICH HISTORICAL & GENEALOGICAL RESOURCES

***Please read this important message from Helen***

Unfortunately the society is unable to directly offer ancestral research or help to individuals researching their family. However, on behalf of the society, I am offering lookups for people seeking individual ancestors or important dates, as I personally own copies of some Pentrich records (Microfilm, CDs & Books) ... but please read the following before making a request.

Please take the time to read through the listed records below, to make sure the resource you require is there before contacting me for a lookup ... as I am often asked for records I just don’t have. If you intend to ask me for a lookup, please specify which record you want me to look through as I do not have the time to look through multiple resources or do lengthy requests for whole families & refusal often offends. Please just ask for details of one event or person at any one time. You should always state the resource, the full name of the person (if known) and any dates you know (even if only an approximation). Also, please state ‘Pentrich Lookups’ as the subject of your e-mail ... as I do lookups for many other places & counties ... via my Genealogy-Links web site. You may also be interested to see: “Derbyshire Free Lookup Index”, which includes lookups for other Derbyshire places.
